Le test est largement r\u00e9f\u00e9renc\u00e9 dans les sp\u00e9cifications de performance pour des produits allant de la protection contre la pluie dans les tentes en toile lourde aux textiles m\u00e9dicaux utilis\u00e9s pour la protection contre les risques biologiques.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/app\/images\/Textile.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"514\" height=\"341\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" data-alt=\"Textile.jpg\" \/>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La pression hydrostatique est une force r\u00e9partie sur une surface exerc\u00e9e par l'eau. Elle mesure la r\u00e9sistance du tissu au passage de l'eau. Une surface de l'\u00e9chantillon est soumise \u00e0 une pression d'eau qui augmente uniform\u00e9ment jusqu'\u00e0 ce que l'eau p\u00e9n\u00e8tre en trois endroits diff\u00e9rents. La pression hydrostatique \u00e0 laquelle l'eau p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans le tissu au troisi\u00e8me endroit est not\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Sauf indication contraire, la face de chaque sp\u00e9cimen est plac\u00e9e face vers le bas dans le testeur, expos\u00e9e \u00e0 l'eau d'essai, et serr\u00e9e entre deux anneaux de joints en caoutchouc pour emp\u00eacher les fuites par le c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l'assemblage. La pression de l'eau est ensuite augment\u00e9e \u00e0 un rythme r\u00e9gulier (par exemple, AS 2001.2.17 varie entre 1 kPa\/min ou un r\u00e9sultat obtenu en 10+\/- 2 min) jusqu'\u00e0 ce que trois gouttelettes se forment \u00e0 la surface. La pression n\u00e9cessaire pour p\u00e9n\u00e9trer le mat\u00e9riau est mesur\u00e9e \u00e0 l'aide d'un manom\u00e8tre ou d'une jauge de pression.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u00e9thodes de mesure :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Manom\u00e8tre<\/em> - la pression est mesur\u00e9e en mmH<sub>2<\/sub>O ou cmH<sub>2<\/sub>O, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 sur des tissus \u00e0 faible r\u00e9sistance.<\/li>\n<li><em>Manom\u00e8tre basse pression<\/em> - utilis\u00e9 lorsque la pression hydrostatique est inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 100 kPa.<\/li>\n<li><em>Manom\u00e8tre haute pression<\/em> - utilis\u00e9 lorsque la pression hydrostatique est sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 100 kPa.
