Duret\u00e9 Janka -<\/strong> ASTM D1037, clause 17<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Le test de duret\u00e9 Janka est une mesure de la duret\u00e9 du bois, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e comme une variante du test de duret\u00e9 Brinell, pour d\u00e9terminer l'aptitude de divers bois \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s comme rev\u00eatement de sol. Le test mesure la force n\u00e9cessaire pour enfoncer une bille d'acier d'un diam\u00e8tre de 11,28 millim\u00e8tres (100 mm2 de surface au plus large) dans le bois \u00e0 une profondeur \u00e9gale \u00e0 la moiti\u00e9 du diam\u00e8tre de la bille (5,64 mm).<\/p>\n

Les essais sont effectu\u00e9s \u00e0 l'aide d'une unit\u00e9 d'essai \u00e0 taux d'extension constant (CRE). La charge de compression n\u00e9cessaire pour enfoncer la bille de 5,64 mm dans l'\u00e9chantillon est enregistr\u00e9e et exprim\u00e9e en tant que valeur de duret\u00e9. Un certain nombre d'essais individuels sont effectu\u00e9s et la moyenne des r\u00e9sultats est calcul\u00e9e pour d\u00e9terminer la duret\u00e9 Janka.<\/p>\n
