Les essais sont sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 l'utilisation finale et \u00e0 l'emplacement et il est tout \u00e0 fait possible qu'un m\u00eame mat\u00e9riau n\u00e9cessite plus d'un essai ou soit soumis \u00e0 des exigences diff\u00e9rentes.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le choix du test appropri\u00e9 peut s'av\u00e9rer complexe et (en Australie) la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au code national de construction australien (NCC) est cruciale.
