Flammability Testing - Scope Expanded

AWTA Product Testing has recently obtained ISO 17025 accreditation for the flammability test ISO 5660.1 and ISO 5660.2 (Reaction to Fire test – heat release, smoke production and mass loss rate – cone calorimeter).

This method is  required by the New Zealand Building Code for determining Group Numbers for wall and ceiling linings, and for some external applications. 

This addition to our scope of accreditation complements ISO 9239.1 (New Zealand - Critical Heat Flux for flooring), AS/NZS 3837 (Australia – wall and ceiling linings), and AS/ISO 9239.1 (Australia - Critical Heat Flux for flooring) and allows us to offer testing options for that meet both Australian and New Zealand requirements.
