The human eye receives and processes light from reflective surfaces at varying angular geometry during each waking moment of our existence. Photons bombarding our eyes, are constantly converted into flow of neurons providing information, such as distance, colour and intensity, as well as potential for impending catastrophe.
AWTA Product Testing is currently equipped to measure light and colour emitted from reflected substrate surfaces at specific multispatial angular geometries.
The information provided from retro-reflected photometry is particularly useful where light and colour receipted by an observer must comply with specific minima and maxima, or where reflected spectral emission plays a role in functional product performance and application.
Typical products for which photometric and spectral measurement may be applied, include, Road Markings, Raised Pavement Markers, Street & Safety Signage, Safety Garments and other eye catching media.
