AS 3789.10 Textiles for health care - Blanket Testing

The Australian Standard, AS 3789.10, for blankets used for health care applications is currently under revision with the draft of the new document having just been released for public comment. The major change to the document is a move to a performance based rather than a specification based Standard which allows the use of current products along with a provision for new products that may be in development. Properties covered in the draft Standard include: colourfastness, mechanical, flammability, and thermal performance.
